I mentioned yesterday that I wasn't going to run today so I didn't. I went to Veloway Park in South Austin which I highly recommend folks to visit when you're in town or for those of you who live here make sure to stop by for a killer 3-mile ride!

Last year I made a visit after doing some research on Google and the help of a friend who said it would be a great place to ride. At first, it seems like an easy ride but then you have some sharp turns, little peaks, and of course a deer or two that randomly run across the trail! I had a doe just start at me on my third lap. If she could talk she would've said, "pathetic..." and she would be absolutely right! This trail is great for road bikes and a big no-no for mountain bikes.
Yup, I'm that idiot riding a mountain bike on a trail meant for rollerblading and road bikes. Hell, I messaged a couple of my buddies earlier telling them that a pregnant lady overlapped me TWICE with ease! She was a beast. I tried staying with her at a good pace but my legs gave out on me and she put the pedal to the metal. There's a very steep hill that murders your legs every time! If you've been there, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Anywho, Veloway Park is beautiful and a great place to put in a good bike ride by yourself, with friends, or family. On my third lap, I stopped to take a picture of my bike to show everyone what I'm talking about.

Today's Workout
I continued my workout from yesterday! I will say, after today's ride my legs were just over it. Hell, I haven't given myself a rest day but that's because I'm an idiot so here's what I did after my ride:
Air Squats: 50x4
Sit-Ups: 40x4
High Knees:30x4
Lunges: 20x4
Pushups: 10x4
Then I used my resistance band for the following workout:
Resistance Band Curls: 25x4
Resistance Band Shoulder Press: 15x4
Resistance Band Flys: 25x4
DB Side Bends: 20x4
DB Shoulder Raises: 20x4
